A failed thermostat can cause an engine to run at outside of its optimum temperature and can adversely affect performance and efficiency. The fix can be as simple as replacing the thermostat. This Sierra complete thermostat kit is pre-assembled to save you time researching and gathering individual parts. The thermostats are engineered with a temperature rating of 143°F (62°C) and is compatible with almost 5000 Johnson/Evinrude outboard models. Also included in the kit are the necessary gaskets, two grommets (for the V4 Crossflow) and two poppet relief valve (for the V4 Crossflow). Sierra pre-assembled kits allow you to focus on replacing the thermostat and not on sourcing parts.
