Restore water pump function with a new housing.
Mercury and MerCruiser water pump housings can wear over time resulting in reduced water flow and pressure. Replacing the pump housing (and impeller) can restore a proper supply of cooling water and reduce the chances of overheating the engine. Sierra replacement housings are engineered to meet the specifications of Mercury and MerCruiser water pumps used on many sterndrives and outboards. The plastic body features stainless steel impeller cup to reduce wear and provide a smooth surface the impeller. To refresh an older water pump, look to West Marine and Sierra to have the parts.
